- Versatility

KEY DUTIES 
Working under the supervision of the Operations Manager and working closely with the QHSE Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for: 
- Carrying out &quot;in house&quot; manufacturing inspections (visual, dimensional, welding, hydrostatic test, leak test 
and DPI) 
- Carrying out the above activities on sub-contractors. 
- Supervision of NDE sub-contractors working at the Workshop, reviewing reports. 
- Liaising with customer inspectors, 3rd Party Inspection authorities and NOBO on site. 
- Maintaining up-to-date weld maps. 
- Identification and traceability of raw materials and &quot;free issue&quot; goods during manufacture. 
- Maintaining and compiling manufacturing records to be included in the Certification Data Book. 
- Organising Calibration of Lifting Equipment and Pressure Gauges, calibration of company owned equipment 
in-house. 
- Ensuring that non-conforming goods are segregated. 
- Select and liaise with external NDE and/or PWHT suppliers as required ensuring cost, delivery and quality 
are maintained whilst product is off site. Ensure material being delivered to those suppliers is sufficiently 
marked up to allow efficient processing. 
- Liaise with Stores to ensure sufficient stock of weld consumables is maintained and manage the preheating 
and storage of welding rods to minimise scrap/wastage. 
- Ensure manufacturing drawings in use are latest revisions. 
- Liaise with Workshop Supervisor, Logistics Supervisor and Operations Manager to drive business forward.
