Business Support Clerk (Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities Available)\n\nBelfast City Centre\n\n£13.47 per hour\n\nFull-Time (37 Hours) and Part-Time (18.5 Hours) Positions Available\n\nTemporary Contracts\n\nHatched Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of Belfast City Council for Business Support Clerks to join various departments across the Council.\n\nThese are excellent opportunities for organised, customer-focused administrators looking to gain valuable public sector experience. We are currently recruiting for both full-time and part-time positions based in Belfast City Centre.\n\nAvailable Opportunities\n\nFull-Time Position\n\n37 hours per week\n12-week temporary contract\nBased at Linenhall Street, Belfast\nMonday to Thursday: 8:30am - 5:00pm\nFriday: 8:30am - 4:30pm \n\nPart-Time Position\n\n18.5 hours per week\n4-week temporary contract\nBased at Adelaide Street, Belfast\nWorking Monday, Wednesday and Thursday\nOne day will be worked as a half day (to be confirmed) \n\nAbout the Role\n\nAs a Business Support Clerk, you will provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support, ensuring the efficient delivery of business support services across the Council.\n\nYou will work as part of a busy team supporting a range of functions including administration, customer service, document management, meeting coordination and data processing.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nProviding general administrative and clerical support\nMaintaining electronic and manual filing systems\nProcessing internal and external correspondence\nData entry, record management and information retrieval\nHandling telephone and email enquiries\nPreparing letters, reports, presentations and other documents\nArranging meetings and taking minutes when required\nSupporting finance, HR, customer service and general business support activities\nProviding front-line customer service where required\nUsing Microsoft Office applications and Council IT systems \n\nEssential Skills & Experience\n\nPrevious administration, clerical or office support experience\nStrong Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel skills\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nGood organisational and time management abilities
